Heading into the last game of the regular season, looking to bring home the BWAC championship trophy for the fifth consecutive year. The Lady Pioneers met Imlay City on their home turf at Kautz Shore Lanes. The red hot Pioneers didn’t disappoint finishing off Imlay City 22-8. The girls started their standard fast start by taking all ten baker match points with games of 165 and 159. Imlay City didn’t go down without a fight though coming back and winning 7 of 9 points of the first head to head match. Regaining their composure, and fighting to the end, the Pioneers finally slammed the door taking 8 of 9 points of the second head to head match. Scoring big for the night were Alli Irwin 160, Isabella Gunderson 175, Megan Farley 187, Brooklyn Butler 164, and Katelyn Heiden 212. Not to be left out I want to give a shout out to our two rookies of this year, Jasmyn Hinojosa, and Gabby Hodge. Although you didn’t get a lot of play time this match, just wanted to let you know what an important part of the team you guys have been all season, and we couldn’t have accomplished our goals without you. Well done ladies it’s been one heck of a season, and we are proud of each and every one of you for doing your part to bring home another championship!!! Well done girls, well done!! Looking forward to the post season, and aiming for a state championship. GO LADY PIONEERS GO!!!
