The freshman boys football team came away with a great win against division two Port Huron High. Richard Yearkey started off the Pioneer scoring with a short touchdown run to make the game 8-7. Late in the first half the boys drove the field and scored as time expired. Keagan Barnett caught a pass within the five yard line with three seconds on the clock. Saige Slanec caught a pass in the back of the endzone with no time on the clock. The Pioneers took a 14-8 lead into the half. Kirk Wilson broke the tie late in the game with a 30 yard scamper. The defense would seal the 21-14 victory.
